Andrea Schirmaier-Huber
Andrea Schirmaier-Huber (* in Munich ) is a German book author and TV baker .
Life
Schirmaier-Huber grew up in a confectionery family in Munich- Ramersdorf. After graduating from secondary school with a focus on art and housekeeping , she began training as a housekeeper . After graduating in 1994, she completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef in Munich and, after graduating, took over the management of the family business's bakery . In addition, she took part in nationwide confectionery championships and in 1998 achieved the title of confectioner federal champion and thus also the qualification for the world championship . In 1999 she was named the world confectioner champion in the fields of pâtisserie , confectioner and confectioner.
In 2003 she completed her examination to become a master confectioner and gained craftsmanship abroad in order to finally take over the department management of the confectionery in a delicatessen store . She also modernized the family business and published her first baking books. In 2013, she expanded her business and moved it to Oberpframmern . There she still runs a pastry shop, confectionery , baking academy and jam manufacturer . In 2018 she founded the Bake and Cook Academy .
