Andrea Ullmann

Andrea Ullmann married Kanzler (born February 4, 1964 in Jugenheim ) is a German table tennis player . In the 1980s she played in the women's Bundesliga for 10 years . She twice took part in world championships and several international championships for women.

Andrea Ullmann first played in the club TTC Eintracht Pfungstadt. At the national ranking tournament for school girls in 1980 she came fourth. A year later she was third in doubles at the German school championships. In 1981 she took part in the European Youth Championships in Topolcany.

She later joined TV Grossen-Linden , where she stayed until 1983. Then she moved to FTG Frankfurt in the 1st Bundesliga. After her marriage to Jürgen Lieder in 1987, she performed under the name Andrea Lieder . At German championships she took 4th place in singles in 1983 and 3rd place in 1989, 3rd place in doubles in 1982 and 1983 with Anja Spengler and 2nd in 1990 with Anke Schreiber . With FTG Frankfurt she was German team champion in 1986 and 1987. In 1989 she moved to the TuS Jahn Soest association, and in 1992 to the TTC GW Staffel.

In 1983 she was nominated for the World Cup in Tokyo. The fact that she was given preference over Anke Olschewski has been criticized many times in professional circles (see Table Tennis World Championship 1983 # team competition women ). Here she completed her only international match, losing to the Yugoslavian Gordana Perkučin . In 1989 she qualified 7th in the DTTB TOP-12 tournament for the 1989 World Cup in Dortmund, where she took part in the individual competitions.

In 1998 she ended her active table tennis time and now works as a pharmacist in a pharmacy. She is married and has a daughter.
