Jürgen Lieder

Jürgen Lieder (March 2, 1937 , † May 18, 2000 ) was a German table tennis player and trainer. As an association trainer at the Hessian table tennis association HTTV , he trained several top players.

More active

Lieder began his career at the TGS Rödelheim club , with whom he joined FTG Frankfurt in 1973 and played in the Bundesliga . In 1976 he moved to TTC Neuses, other stations were TTC Heusenstamm (1978/79, Hessenliga) and in the 1980s the TV Bieber (Oberliga).

In 1971 Lieder was Hessen Champion in doubles (with Warnke). His greatest success was his invitation to the 1969 World Cup , where he took part in the individual competitions.

Trainer

In 1970 the Hessian table tennis association HTTV engaged Jürgen Lieder as an association trainer. Lieder was particularly dedicated to working with young talent and trained well-known players such as Jörg Roßkopf , Hans-Jürgen Fischer , Richard Prause , Anke Olschewski , Andrea Ullmann and Nina Wolf . His work was honored in 1982 with the bronze badge of honor of the HTV.

Private

Since 1987 Lieder was married to his former "protégé" Andrea Ullmann .
