Hans-Jürgen Fischer (born January 29, 1966 in Freigericht ) is a German table tennis player . He is a multiple national player and long-time Bundesliga player . He was twice German runner-up in doubles. From the 2012/13 season he plays for TG 1860 Obertshausen in the major league.

biography

His first success was the German junior championship in doubles in 1983 with Jörg Windirsch. In 1986 he was first champion of Hessen . He won this title four more times: 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2001. At the National German Championships he finished 3rd in singles in 1989 and 1994. In 1988 and 1993 he was runner- up in doubles with Thomas Roßkopf .

In the national ranking tournaments TOP-12 / TOP-16, Fischer came second in 1993, and came third in 1989, 1990 and 1994. With the TTC Grenzau he won the German team championship in 1987, in 1993 he was runner-up with PSV Telekom Mühlheim. In 1991 he won the European Cup with TTC Jülich .

In 1989 he was nominated for the World Cup , in 1992 he represented Germany at the European Championships . Then he resigned from the national team.

Hans-Jürgen Fischer has two brothers and a sister: Markus (* 1961) and Ernst (* 1972) qualified for the European Youth Championships. Sylvia (* 1963) Together with Ernst he plays in the front pair cross in the upper league.
