Andrea Zangemeister

Andrea Zangemeister (* 1942 ) is a German journalist and former editor-in-chief of Bild der Frau .

Zangemeister grew up with an aunt in Silesia . She fled from Silesia to the Lüneburg Heath . She only found out about her birth mother at the age of six. After studying German and Romance languages ​​in Freiburg , she began an internship at Bild in March 1965 . In 1981 she became the deputy editor-in-chief. From 1983 to 2006 she was the editor-in-chief of Bild der Frau , whose editor she was from 2006 until her retirement in 2007. Sandra Immoor became her successor as editor-in-chief.
