Zemanová began her sports career as an alpine ski racer . From 2008 to 2014 she mainly competed in FIS races . She also took part in two World Cups in the Alpine Ski World Cup. She was eliminated from both competitions in the first run. At the Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2011 , she finished 32nd in the Super-G. In 2009 and 2011 she became Czech champion in Super-G. She had her freestyle skiing world cup debut in the ski cross discipline in December 2013 in Nakiska , which she finished in 20th place. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she came 21st. In the 2014/15 season, she completed eight World Cup races. She achieved four top ten placings, including second place in Åre and thus finished 11th in the Ski Cross World Cup. At the season highlight of the 2015 Freestyle Skiing World Championships on Kreischberg , she achieved 14th place. In the following season she reached 19th place in the Ski Cross World Cup. The fifth place in Innichen was her best result of the season in the World Cup.
Zemanová has taken part in 36 freestyle skiing world cup races so far and has been placed in the top ten eight times (as of the end of the 2016/17 season).
