Andreas Engelhardt
Andreas Engelhardt (born May 29, 1960 in Wuppertal ) is a German manager. In parallel to his professional activities, Engelhardt was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1990 to 1995. He has worked in various companies and has been in a leading position since the 1990s. Engelhardt has been Chairman of the Management Board of Schüco International KG in Bielefeld since October 1, 2012, and has been a personally liable partner since September 1, 2014.

Engelhardt was born in Wuppertal. After completing secondary school , an apprenticeship as industrial clerk followed . In 1980/1981 he completed his military service .
politics
Engelhardt joined the Junge Union (JU) in 1976 , has been a member of the CDU since 1978 and was initially active on the local political level. He took over the post of district chairman within the Junge Union from 1983 to 1988, and from 1984 to 1986 he was a member of the Rhineland regional board. Later he also became deputy state chairman for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia at the JU . Within his party he was in the district's management for the Bergisch land chosen and was 1984-1989 city councilor and youth policy spokesman of the CDU Council faction .
Engelhardt was a member of the eleventh state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1990 to 1995 . He moved into the state parliament at number 51 on his party's state list . There he worked parallel to his professional activity until 1995 as a member of the committee for economics, medium-sized companies and technology.
Entrepreneurial activity
DEVALIT : From 1980 to 1993 Engelhardt held various positions, later in management positions at Devalit , Wuppertal - a supplier of plastic injection molded parts for the automotive industry. In 1987 he became an authorized signatory and headed the areas of sales, export, procurement management and managed the subsidiary in Great Britain .
Illbruck Group : From 1993 to 2001 he was managing director of the illbruck group . The family company based in Leverkusen has various individual companies in Germany and abroad. Engelhardt worked here for both illbruck Automotive and illbruck building products. In addition, he was co-managing director of the management holding company of the illbruck building products international division.
HP Chemie Pelzer : From 2001 to 2002 Engelhardt was interim managing director for sales and marketing at HP Chemie Pelzer GmbH , Witten , an automotive supplier in the field of acoustic systems.
Bürger AG : In 2002, Engelhardt was appointed to the board of directors of Bürger Aktiengesellschaft , Hildesheim , and has been chairman of the board of the family company since 2003, with the business divisions wholesaling of heating, cooling, noise and fire protection products and operating hardware stores and building materials stores.
Prym GmbH & Co. KG : In 2005 Engelhardt became Chairman of the Management Board of William Prym GmbH & Co. KG, Stolberg .
Schüco International KG : On October 1, 2012, Engelhardt took over the chairmanship of the management of Schüco International KG , a company in the construction supply industry based in Bielefeld. Since September 1, 2014 in the function of personally liable partner.
