career

After Andreas Kaufmann had started his career with lower-class clubs from Konstanz , he was brought to SC Freiburg , where he was mainly used as a player in the second team. He also played a total of six times for the professional team from 2001 to 2006, the first time in September 2001 against FC Schalke 04 . When the sports club left the DFB Cup against SV Darmstadt 98 , he was also in the starting line-up in November 2001. In the following seasons the Freiburg amateurs became a firm force. In the professional team, however, he was never finally able to get stuck. He was used three times in the first and twice in the second Bundesliga.

In the second team, Kaufmann finally became captain and was involved in the 2007/08 Oberliga championship . At the end of the 2007/08 season, Kaufmann ended his active career at the age of 34. He was also active for the German student team at times. Today he still plays for VfR Pfaffenweiler in the Freiburg district league , where he played with his former teammate from SC Freiburg Dominik Wohlfarth.
