Andreas Lindner (born July 15, 1962 in Brandenburg (Havel) ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Lindner began his career at the age of 7 as a footballer with the BSG Motor Süd Brandenburg club . In 1975 he was delegated to the children's and youth sports school in Frankfurt (Oder) and played there for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) . After his military service in the early 1980s, he returned to his homeland in Brandenburg an der Havel. He played in the club BSG Stahl Brandenburg and his successors up to FC Stahl Brandenburg continuously until 2001 and played a total of 396 competitive games in which he scored 29 goals.

In 2001, Andreas Lindner switched to the club SV Kloster Lehnin as a player and led it as an experienced veteran from the regional league to the association league .

Andreas Lindner was appointed to the GDR's Olympic team in the 1980s , but was not used. He is also an integral part of the traditional team of the BSG Stahl Brandenburg club.

In addition to his active time, he completed an apprenticeship as a banker from 1994 to 1996 and has been working at Postbank since 2014 .
