Andreas Lotte

Andreas Lotte (born November 3, 1973 in Munich ) is a German economist and politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 2013 to 2018.

biography

Lotte grew up in Munich and attended school there. After training in retail, he studied business administration a. a. with a focus on commercial management and real estate management at the Nürtingen University of Applied Sciences . From 2000 to 2008 he worked as a start-up consultant for the City of Munich and completed an extra-occupational degree at the Munich School of Politics in 2005 . From 2008 to 2013 he worked in research and technology transfer as a start-up consultant (LMU Spin-off Service) at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Since 2018 he has been the managing director of the Association for Professional Integration

politics

Lotte has been a member of the SPD since 1989. In 2002 he was elected as parliamentary group chairman in the district committee 8 Schwanthalerhöhe, the district in which he also lives. From 2008 to 2014 he was an honorary city councilor in Munich, where he was v. a. engaged in housing policy and was significantly involved in the introduction of conceptual rental housing.

In the state election in 2013 he won a mandate and housing policy and research policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. As part of his parliamentary work, Lotte v. a. for the creation of affordable housing, the improvement of housing supervision and the reform of the modernization levy. In 2015 he set up a “Working Group Housing” to deal with the various social, transport and economic policy aspects of housing policy. He also placed a focus on the introduction of conceptual rental housing construction at all government levels. A large part of the package of applications on housing policy decided on at the SPD state party conference in 2015 in Hirschaid bears his signature.
