Andreas Lucas (born December 20, 1963 in Wiesbaden ) is a German composer , music producer , filmmaker and entrepreneur .

Career

Lucas played in various bands during his school days. At the age of 15 he began a classic training course lasting several years. He played in bands like Candela, the Frankfurt City Blues Band , the Ge-Am-Express, London Aircraft and the Rodgau Monotones .

From the late 1980s, Lucas worked as a session and studio musician, a. a. for the producer duo Duo Mende / De Rouge , and Frank Farian and for artists such as Michael Morgan, George Happi, Bobby Kimball , Bonnie Bianco and Nena . During this time my first engagements as a music producer for artists like MKII (Epic) Roey Marquis (Columbia), Brixx (Sony / Bravo Hits), later own projects like Gibran (among others at Maximilian Schell , Sebastian Koch & Joy Denalane ) or Tango e Poesia ( Hannes Jaehnicke ). With Gunther Mende he produced the album "Can we talk" by Emel .

In the early 1990s, Lucas founded the music production company FunDeMental Music and Basement Audio-Postproduction, which merged in 2000 to form the FunDeMental Studios. There Lucas produced and composed music for the advertising industry for Opel, Bahn, Philipp Morris, BSH, Renault, Audi, Porsche, Toyota, DJI, etc. a. As the HoD of the FunDeMental Studios for brands like Nestlé, L'Oréal, Die Bahn, Siemens or Sony and agencies like Publicis, McCann, Leo Burnett, Heimat, Jung von Matt, Saatchi or Ogilvy.

Lucas received awards as a composer a. a. at the Cannes Lions, the ADC, the Clio Award or the New York Festival.

As HM / HoD (Headmaster / Head of Department) and as a freelance composer at FunDeMental Studios (audio post & music production), Lucas oversees numerous film projects, and since 2015 as a co-producer . The FunDeMental Studios operate a THX certified cinema as a mixed suite.
