Timothy Walsh, one of the world's leading microbiologists on antibiotic resistance from Cardiff University , who is looking for the causes of the spread of resistance and alternatives to antibiotics, politicians such as British financial expert Jim O'Neill , who was appointed special envoy by then Prime Minister David Cameron in 2014 for antibiotic resistance who want to draw public attention to the problem and focus on the economic dimension of antibiotic resistance, as well as those affected and their doctors who fight infections with multi-resistant germs in hospitals. The use of antibiotics in animal fattening plays a central role in the film.
