Andreas Roppel

Andreas Roppel (born August 9, 1890 in Kleinbuchfeld ; † April 2, 1961 in Worms ) was a German politician ( center , CDU ).

Roppel, who was a Catholic denomination, was a member of the center and secretary of the Christian trade unions before 1933. In the time of National Socialism he could not continue his political work. He was temporarily arrested in 1944 as part of Aktion Gewitter . In 1945 he became director of the Worms hospital and from 1946 head of the Worms social welfare office.

After the Second World War he became a member of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate . In 1946 he was a member of the National Advisory Assembly .
