Andreas Schachtschneider

Andreas Schachtschneider (born March 22, 1961 in Halle an der Saale ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 2015 to 2016 .

Andreas Schachtschneider studied from 1981 to 1985 at the University of Halle with a degree as a qualified teacher and then worked in the school service, temporarily as headmaster of a primary and secondary school, most recently at a vocational school.

Schachtschneider has been a member of his party since 2002 and has been chairman of the local association in Halle-Neustadt since 2006 . Since 2009 he has held a mandate on the city council of Halle. In February 2015 he replaced Jürgen Stadelmann in the state parliament.
