Andreas Schlotterbeck

Andreas Schlotterbeck (born March 2, 1982 in Berlin ) is a German water polo player .

Schlotterbeck was a member of the German national water polo team from 2005 to 2016. by July 2013 he had completed around 250 international matches for Germany. At the 2005 World Cup , he finished 9th with the German team , and Germany was eighth at the 2007 World Cup . In 2008 the team took sixth place at the European Championship.

The 1.90 m tall Schlotterbeck began his career at SC Wedding, with whom he was twice German junior champion. From 1999 the center played for the Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 , with whom he was 13 times German champion and 9 times cup winners. In 2014 he moved to Waspo Hannover and in 2016 to SG Neukölln .

Schlotterbeck is a trained office communication clerk and has been a member of the Bundeswehr's sports promotion group since 2004 .
