Andreas Wolf (* 11. September 1958 in Riesa ) is a former German football player in the defense . He played for BSG Stahl Riesa and BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Wolf went through the youth departments at BSG Stahl Riesa up to the first team. He made his debut on the 6th match day of the 1976/77 league season when he was in the starting line-up on October 6, 1976 in a 1-1 draw against Halleschen FC Chemie . In the current season he came to another nine missions. During his military service he played for ASG Vorwärts Dessau II. After that, Wolf returned to Stahl Riesa in 1979. In the following two seasons he came to a total of 23 missions, where he was often substituted in 1979/80. In 1982 he joined the BSG Energie Cottbus, which played in the second-rate GDR league. In 1982/83 Wolf was used in 16 games, a year later there were already 21 in which he scored a goal. In the following two seasons he was undisputedly one of the permanent staff and only missed two games. After promotion to the league in 1986, Wolf completed 25 games. The direct relegation followed. In 1987/88 he scored three goals in 25 games for Energie Cottbus. He then moved in 1989 to league competitor BSG activist Brieske-Senftenberg , where he was a regular player. He scored three goals in 28 appearances. After just one season he joined BSG Lokomotive Cottbus , where he ended his active career after 1991.

In the period that followed, Wolf worked as a coach for several lower-class clubs.
