Andreas Zirkl (born March 15, 1968 ) is an Austrian paracycler .

In 2000 Andreas Zirkl suffered a motorcycle accident , as a result of which his left thigh was amputated . His left arm remained paralyzed. During rehabilitation he began to train intensively on the ergometer . In September 2006 he began cycling outdoors, initially on a mountain bike , then switched to paracycling on the track and road .

Since 2010, Zirkl has been Austrian champion several times and placed in World and European Cups. He also started at popular sports events that are not explicitly designed for disabled athletes, such as the Ötztal Cycle Marathon . In 2016 and 2017 he won silver in scratch at the World Railroad Championships .
