Andreas Ritter von Hüttenbrenner (born November 3, 1797 in Graz ; † August 10, 1869 there ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician and mayor of Graz.

Life

Born as the brother of Anselm and Heinrich Hüttenbrenner , Andreas Hüttenbrenner studied law in Graz after attending grammar school in Graz. During his studies in 1820 he became a member of the Graz fraternity circle . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After completing his studies, he became an auscultant at the Graz magistrate in 1821 and worked there from 1831 to 1839 as a qualified magistrate before he was vice mayor until 1844 and then mayor until 1848. In 1849 he became a higher regional judge and worked in the court introductory committee. He later became a real judge of the higher regional court and in 1863 he was raised to hereditary nobility as "Knight von Hüttenbrenner" . He is buried in the St. Leonhard Cemetery in Graz .
