Jaroslav Hafenrichter (born January 22, 1990 in Chomutov , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech - German ice hockey player . He has been part of the Augsburg Panther squad in the German Ice Hockey League since 2016 .

career

Hafenrichter comes from a family in the Sudetenland . In his youth he played in his hometown Chomutov before he went to the youth academy of HC Slavia Prague . In the 2009/10 season he made his debut in the second Czech league in the jersey of HC Havlíčkův Brod , in 2012/13 he made his  first appearances in the country's top division, the Extraliga, for Piráti Chomutov .

In 2013 Hafenrichter moved to the Fischtown Pinguins in the DEL2 . In his first season in Bremerhaven he scored 27 goals in 70 games (championship round included) and prepared 29 more. With the North Germans he won the DEL2 championship title this season. In 2014/15 he had 19 hits in 55 missions for Bremerhaven.

For the 2015/16 season he was signed by the Hamburg Freezers from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). In 2016 he switched to the Augsburger Panthers within the DEL .

National team

Hafenrichter played international matches for the Czech national teams of the U16, U17, U18 and U20 age groups. In March 2018 he was appointed to the German national ice hockey team for the first time.
