There he was released on January 1, 2010 and replaced by his predecessor Jari Helle . For the 2010/11 season an engagement at EC Dornbirn followed , in which he led the team to the runner-up. Since 2011 he has been under contract with EC Kassel Huskies . In April 2012, however, it was announced that Bartman and the people of Kassel had mutually agreed to terminate the contract that would actually run until after the 2012/13 season. From December 19, 2013 Bartmann was active as an assistant trainer for the DEL Club Iserlohn Roosters . After Rob Daum's dismissal in November 2018, Bartman took over the team management together with Christian Hommel.
