The EV Fürstenfeldbruck is a sports club in Fürstenfeldbruck (Bavaria) with the departments ice hockey and ice skating . The association was founded in 1956.
Ice rink
The ice rink on Klosterstrasse was built in 1956 as a natural ice rink and converted into an uncovered artificial ice rink in 1972. The ice rink is operated by the “Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck”. Efforts to roof the stadium have so far always been rejected by the Fürstenfeldbruck city council. In addition to the EVF, the ERC Fürstenfeldbruck (ice and roller sports club) also uses the stadium specifically for figure skating.
ice Hockey
The EVFFB ice hockey team played for the first time in high-class ice hockey in the 1970/71 season in the Regionalliga Süd . With the introduction of the 2nd Bundesliga for the 1973/74 season, the team moved up to the major league , from which they withdrew after the 1974/75 season to the leagues of the Bavarian Ice Sports Association . In the 1994/95 season the EVFFB was Bavarian runner-up behind Wanderers from Germering.
From the 1977/78 season was again part of the Regionalliga Süd . Except for the 1979/80 season , where the Oberliga Süd took part, the team stayed in this league until the 1985/86 season . From then on, the team played again in the leagues of the Bavarian Ice Sports Association.

From the 2004/05 season the team was again represented in the Bavarian Ice Hockey League , where they reached third place in the Bavarian Championship in the 2005/06 season . In 2007/08, however, the team was relegated to the national league , in which it has been playing ever since.

More teams
In addition to the senior team, which is nicknamed the Crusaders , and the junior teams play under the umbrella of the club:
- the women's team of the Amperhexen , which took part in league games in the second-class Bavarian state league. The women's team was dissolved in 2010.
- the oldies team organized as a hobby
- For the 2011/12 season, a 1b team was founded that plays in the district league.
- In the 2005/06 season the student team, which was promoted from the regional league to the regional league, was very successful
- in the 2006/07 season, the "students" who made it into the championship round of the regional league were successful. It was her first season in the national league.
- In the 2008/09 season, the "youth" team reached very strong and 3rd place in the promotion round of the regional league.
- In the 2010/11 season, the "Juniors" made it to the national league. Thus the 1991-1992 cohorts managed the second promotion (see 2005/06 season).
- The school and youth team finished the district league season with 1st place in the 2019/20 season. The student team remained without defeat.
