history
In 1933 the association Český Lev Beroun ( Czech Lion Beroun ) was founded in Beroun . In addition to the lions, there was another ice hockey club in Beroun, Sokol Beroun . In 1953 the two clubs merged to form TJ Lokomotiva Beroun . The first team of this club played until the 1970s only at the local and regional level. In 1977 he was promoted to the 2nd division of Czechoslovakia . It wasn't until 1993 that they were promoted to the first division, where the club has been playing ever since.
The team achieved the greatest success in the club's history in the 2003/04 season, when they first completed the preliminary round and only failed in the playoff final at HC Dukla Jihlava .
In 2014, the club was relegated to the third division as the penultimate of the main round, but ultimately - due to a high debt burden - received no license for this league and has not participated in the game since then.
