Pavel Kolařík (born October 24, 1972 in Vyškov , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player who was continuously active at HC Slavia Prague between 2002 and 2018 . He has also been a junior coach at HC Slavia since 2017.

Career

Pavel Kolařík began his career as an ice hockey player with the juniors of HC Sparta Prague before he made his debut in the first division , the highest Czechoslovak division, for the ŠKP PS Poprad in the 1992/93 season . Then he played after the division of Czechoslovakia for three and a half years for the Czech second division club H + S Beroun , where he came parallel between 1994 and 1996 to a total of ten missions for HC Kladno in the extra league . In the middle of the 1996/97 season he joined HC Slavia Prague , for which he was under contract in the Extraliga for the following three and a half years. He was then selected only at the age of 27 in the NHL Entry Draft 2000 in the ninth round as a total of 268th player by the Boston Bruins . For this he played a total of 23 games in the National Hockey League in the following two seasons , but was mainly used in their farm team Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League .

In the summer of 2002 Kolařík returned to HC Slavia Prague, with whom he was Czech champion straight away in the 2002/03 season . He was able to repeat this success with his team in the 2007/08 season . At European level, the Czech was on the ice in all four Slavias games in the group stage of the Champions Hockey League in the 2008/09 season .

International

For the Czech Republic , Kolařík took part in the 2003 World Cup and in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2003 and 2006 .
