Andrei Alexandrowitsch Solomennikow ( Russian Андрей Александрович Соломенников ; born June 10, 1987 in Izhevsk ) is a former Russian cyclist .

Career

Solomennikow was vice European junior champion in road racing in 2005 .

After winning his first international competition in the adult area in 2007 with the Gran Premio San Giuseppe , he received his first contract with an international cycling team , the UCI Continental Team Katyusha, from the 2018 season . For this team he won his first international stage race in 2012 with the overall ranking of the Tour du Loir-et-Cher .

For the 2013 season Solomennikow moved to the UCI Professional Continental Team RusVelo . In the same year he was at the Russian championships in a doping test positive for fenoterol and then banned for six months. After his suspension, he won the overall ranking of the Five Rings of Moscow in 2014. After the end of the 2017 season, he ended his international career.
