Andrei Alexejewitsch Alexejew ( Russian Андрей Алексеевич Алексеев , born October 15, 1990 ) is a Russian biathlete .

Andrei Alexejew is a sports student at the Karelia State Pedagogical Academy. He made his first international appearances at the IBU Summer Cup 2009 in Ostrow . In the sprint he was the only one of the 32 starters to show a faultless performance and thus finished third behind Mikhail Kotschkin and Artyom Uschakow . He left well-known starters behind, including Alexei Tschurin and Sergei Kljatschin . In the pursuit race too, only Sergei Danilenko was one mistake better in shooting with two penalties. With his three mistakes, Alexejew fell out of the podium and finished sixth.
