Andrei Alexejewitsch Semjonow

Andrei Alexejewitsch Semjonow ( Russian Андрей Алексеевич Семёнов , English transcription Andrey Semyonov ; born August 16, 1977 in Leningrad ) is a former Russian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

Life

At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville he was with the Russian team silver fifth in the 4-by-400-meter relay , and at the 2001 World Indoor Championships in Lisbon, he won silver with him.

In 2002 he reached the semi-finals at the European Athletics Championships in Munich over 400 m and won the silver medal with the Russian 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 2000 he became national champion indoors and in 2002 outdoors.
