Andrew Britton
Andrew Britton (* 6. January 1981 in Peterborough , England ; † 18th March 2008 in Durham , North Carolina ) was a British-born US -American writer .
Britton spent his formative years in England and Camlough , Northern Ireland . He and his family emigrated to the United States at the age of seven. After three years in the army, Britton studied economics and psychology at the University of North Carolina , but did not complete his studies until his death as he devoted much of his time to writing. He lived in Raleigh, North Carolina . Britton published three books during his lifetime, all of which fall into the genre of espionage thrillers . He has been dubbed "the next Tom Clancy " by some critics . At the time of his death, Britton was working on his fourth book.
Britton suddenly died on March 18, 2008 at the age of 27 from a previously undiagnosed heart condition.
