Andrew Buckland
Andrew Buckland (* 20th century ) is an American film editor .
Life
Buckland began his career as a film editor, initially as a trainee editor ( apprentice editor ) in 1997 with the film Familiar Enemy . From the following year he worked as an assistant editor and participated as such in around 20 productions. In 2014 he made his debut as an independent editor with the short film The Moor ; His first feature film followed in 2016, Girl on the Train , where he worked with Michael McCusker .
The renewed joint editing work with McCusker on Le Mans 66 - Against Any Chance (2019) brought the two 2020 u. a. received an Oscar nomination, which they were awarded on February 9, 2020 . In 2019 they were u. a. honored with the Satellite Award .
