Andrew Jarecki (* before 2000) is an American film producer , film director , screenwriter and composer .

Career

Andrew Jarecki's film career began as a film producer and director in 2003. He and Marc Smerling received an Oscar nomination for his documentary film Capturing the Friedmans at the 2004 Academy Awards in the category “Best Documentary”. The award went to Errol Morris and Michael Williams and their contribution ( The Fog of War ).

From 2000 to 2002 he was the composer responsible for the television series Felicity for 35 episodes. Afterwards he worked again as a director for films. He was responsible for the crime film All Beauty Must Die and for the six-part documentary series The Bad Luck: The Life and Death of Robert Durst . In addition to directing, he was also responsible for the six-part series as a producer and screenwriter.
