history

The ship was built in 2017 at the Bolle shipyard in Derben on the Elbe in Saxony-Anhalt . It has been in use on the Danube since April 2017. It was created as a so-called AquaCabrio . The shipyard in Derben has had this design patented. The ship has a total length of 44.97 meters and a width of 7.54 meters. The fixed point height of the ship is about 5.20 meters. The Sunliner is driven by two six-cylinder V-engines from Deutz AG , each with a Schottel rudder propeller . Generators are available for power supply on board, driven by diesel engines also from Deutz.
As a convertible ship, it has sliding roof elements that can be opened almost completely over the passenger compartment when the weather is nice. The fore and aft have fixed superstructures. The eighth covered part contains the kitchen area, the sanitary facilities and a counter.
