The Kristallkönigin is a passenger motor ship on the Danube and designed as a day excursion ship in regular service and for themed trips. The ship is operated by the Donau-Schiffahrts-Gesellschaft Wurm + Noé . It has 600 seats.

history

The ship was built under construction number 197 at the Lux shipyard in Niederkassel-Mondorf on the Rhine. It has been anchored in its home port of Regensburg since November 2011 and was the first ship of the so-called Kristallflotte in Regensburg. Wurm + Noé's crystal fleet includes the crystal ship with its home port of Passau and, since 2012, the crystal princess in Regensburg. The joint baptism of the Crystal Queen and the Crystal Princess was carried out on July 11, 2012 by Karin Seehofer , wife of the Bavarian Prime Minister, in Regensburg.
