Andrew Macdonald
Andrew Macdonald (* 1966 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish film producer .
biography
Macdonald, a brother of the documentary filmmaker Kevin Macdonald and grandson of the screenwriter and Oscar winner Emeric Pressburger , is best known for his collaboration with director Danny Boyle and screenwriter John Hodge for films such as Little Murders Among Friends or Trainspotting - New Heroes . Together with British film producer Duncan Kenworthy , he founded the production company DNA Films in 1997 , which has since made films such as Love Actually and 28 Days Later .
