action

Dorothy lives in Glasgow . At the beginning of the film, she argues with her friend Tony on a train. Dorothy flees from him, on the way she sees Brian McMinn beating his girlfriend Petula. Dorothy tries to help the woman and knocks Brian out.

The women take Brian to Dorothy's apartment, where he trips in the bathroom, falls miserably and dies. To cover up the traces, they fake Brian's kidnapping. Dorothy's dog bites off a few fingers from Brian's corpse, one finger is added to the ransom note.

The corrupt police officer Hepburn wants to keep part of the ransom for himself, he finds out that Brian's finger has been severed from a dead body. Hepburn also advertises Petula, who he says is his dream woman. Ronnie McMinn pays the ransom and demands that Hepburn get an opportunity to take revenge for his brother's kidnapping.

When the ransom is about to be handed over, Dorothy sends her dog with bags that Petula fills. Hepburn chains them to the wall with handcuffs and chases the dog. Dorothy's friend, Hepburn and Ronnie McMinn meet at Dorothy's apartment. The men shoot each other.

Dorothy and Petula find the remainder of the ransom in Hepburn's car. They drive off together on a train.
