action

Violet lives with her friend Caesar, who works for the Mafia . Caesar and the other gangsters are shown torturing a man named Shelly who owes the Mafia money. They threaten to cut off his fingers.

Violet gets to know the craftsman Corky, who was arrested shortly before. Violet thinks she is very different from herself at first. They get to know each other better and begin an affair. When Violet learns that Caesar is keeping Shelly's two million dollars in the apartment , she persuades Corky to steal the money. She hopes that Caesar will lose his nerve and go into hiding so that he can be used as a scapegoat.

Caesar sees through the plan, ties Corky and threatens her to mutilate Violet. With difficulty, the two women succeed in overpowering Caesar, killing him and making the corpse disappear. At the end of the film, they are sitting in a car in which they want to leave town. Corky asks Violet about the differences between the two and adds - after Violet doesn't know any - that she doesn't know any either.
