Andrew Lazar

Andrew Lazar (* 1966 in New York City ) is an American film producer .

Life

Andrew Lazar grew up in Los Angeles and later studied politics and film production at New York University . There she graduated with a bachelor's degree . After graduating, he worked with Richard Zanuck . He then became Vice President of the production company Dino De Laurentiis Communications. His debut work was Assassins - Die Killer . He then worked on the films Bound , Der Macher (1997) and Unforgettable, among others . He then founded Mad Chance, which is part of Warner Bros. but also works with New Line Cinema and Touchstone Pictures .

Well-known films with his participation include Space Cowboys (2000), Cats & Dogs - Wie Hund und Katz (2001), Confessions - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002), Get Smart (2008) and I Love You Phillip Morris (2009 ).

The film he produced American Sniper was for the Academy Awards 2015 as Best Picture nomination.
