Andrew Telegdi
Andrew Telegdi (born May 28, 1946 in Budapest , Hungary as András Telegdi ; † January 23, 2017 in Waterloo , Ontario ) was a Hungarian- Canadian politician of the Liberal Party of Canada .
Telegdi was born in Hungary, emigrated to Canada with his family in 1957 and studied at the University of Waterloo . His wife was Nancy Telegdi. He was a member of the Canadian House of Commons from 1993 to 2008 . In 2014 he lost his candidacy for the constituency of Waterloo . He died in 2017 at the age of 70.
