Andrew Lintott
Andrew (William) Lintott (born December 9, 1936 ) is a British ancient historian and co-editor of Cambridge Ancient History .
Until 1967 Lintott worked as a lecturer at King's College London , then until 1981 at the University of Aberdeen as an assistant professor of ancient history. Until his retirement in 2004 he was Professor of Ancient History at Worcester College, Oxford University . His work focuses on the constitutional and legal history of the Roman Republic .
