Andrews McMeel Publishing
Andrews McMeel Publishing is an American comic and book publisher. He is part of the Andrews McMeel Universal media group .
The publishing house was founded in 1975 by publishers Jim Andrews and John McMeel in Kansas City , Missouri . Five years earlier, the publishers founded the Universal Press syndicate for newspaper comic strips and it was now possible to publish in book form. In addition to the comic strips, cookbooks and calendars are also published.
