Andros is a French agro-industrial group based in Biars-sur-Cère , France . The company specializes in processing fruits and milk. In Germany, the company is mainly known for the Bonne Maman brand , under which jams and biscuits are sold, as well as for its German subsidiary, the canned fruit manufacturer Odenwald-Frucht .
Company history
The company was founded by Jean Gervoson after the Second World War and is still family-owned today. Since 2000, the Andros brand and the range of jams and desserts under the Bonne Maman brand have been managed by Frédéric Gervoson, the son of the company founder. The Bonne Maman branded biscuit range is managed by Xavier Gervoson.
The company is based in Biars-sur-Cère in the Occitania region of France. The nearest major town is Brive-la-Gaillarde in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region .

The Andros (Suisse) SA in Nyon was established in 1991.
Andros has been the main shareholder of Andros Deutschland GmbH ( Odenwald canned goods until 2006 and Odenwald fruits until 2017 ) in Breuberg , which also includes the yogurt and milk dessert producer ODW Frischprodukte , since 1991 . Andros has owned the Mamie Nova brand together with the French food company Even since 1992 . Andros holds 80% of the shares in Mamie Nova .
Andros also owns the St Michel Biscuits group , which also owns the Biscuiterie Saint-Michel brand .
In 2006 Andros took over the Prolainat company from Blanquefort , which specializes in the production of ice cream, sorbets and frozen confectionery products. A year later, Andros bought the Materne-Boin company .
Trivia
The wealth of the Gervoson-Chapoulard family, who own Andros, is estimated at around 350 million euros.
Andros sponsors both the Trophée Andros , a car racing series on ice, and the Image Club d'Épinal , an ice hockey team from Épinal .
