Raffarin III cabinet

The Raffarin III cabinet was the third government headed by Jean-Pierre Raffarin and was appointed by President Jacques Chirac on March 31, 2004 . This cabinet ended after Raffarin resigned as a result of the government's defeat in the referendum on the introduction of a European constitution . Raffarin was succeeded as Prime Minister on June 1, 2005 by Dominique de Villepin .
