Pompidou IV cabinet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pompidou IV Cabinet was appointed on April 6, 1967 and was formed by Prime Minister Georges Pompidou . The ministers were presented on April 7, 1967, but have in fact held some of the ministerial posts since April 1, 1967, provided they belonged to the previous government. The cabinet succeeded the Pompidou III cabinet and was partially reorganized on April 29 and May 29. An extensive reshuffle of the fourth Pompidou government to numerous ministerial and state secretary posts finally took place on May 31, 1968 after the unrest of May 1968 . The government was in office until July 10, 1968, when it was replaced by the Couve de Murville cabinet .
