Messmer II cabinet
The Messmer II Cabinet was formed on April 6, 1973, after Pierre Messmer was reappointed Prime Minister on April 3, 1973 . The government replaced Messmer's first cabinet . The state secretaries were appointed on April 13, 1973, with those ministers and state secretaries who had already belonged to the first Messmer government initially continuing to exercise their offices. On October 23, the government was partially reformed. The government was in office until February 28, 1974, when it was replaced by the Messmer III cabinet .
