Couve de Murville cabinet
The Couve de Murville cabinet was formed on July 10, 1968 by Prime Minister Maurice Couve de Murville of the Union des Démocrates pour la Ve République (UDR) and replaced the previous Pompidou IV cabinet from Prime Minister Georges Pompidou . On July 11, 1968, the official handover of the business of government took place, on July 13, 1968 the official presentation of the cabinet to President Charles de Gaulle . The government remained in office until June 20, 1969, when it was replaced by the Chaban-Delmas cabinet formed by Jacques Chaban-Delmas .
