Life

Andy Shauf was born on June 21, 1986 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, grew up in Bienfait and later moved with his family to Regina . His parents ran an electronics and music store that gave him access to a variety of instruments. So he got to know guitar, drums, piano and clarinet playing. He played Christian music with his parents and in the Christian pop-punk band Captain . In 2009 he released his debut album Parker Days . This was followed by two EPs before he released his second album in 2012. In 2015, Shauf signed with Arts & Crafts Productions in Canada and ANTI-International and released the single "Jenny Come Home" as the first release on both labels. With "Jenny Come Home" Shauf made his breakthrough on Canadian radio when he appeared on several radio stations. He then toured Europe as the opening act for The Lumineers until early 2016. In April he moved to Toronto , where he released his third album, The Party , in May 2016 . With his relaxed way of playing music, he was able to cast a spell over his audience.
