Anes Omerovic (born May 20, 1998 in Dornbirn ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Omerovic began his career at FC Dornbirn in 1913 . He came to AKA Vorarlberg for the 2012/13 season . For the 2014/15 season he moved to the youth team at Aston Villa in England . He left Aston Villa after the 2015/16 season.

After half a year without a club, he returned to Austria in January 2017 and switched to the regional league team SV Schwechat . After the 2016/17 season, he left Schwechat without having played a game for the club.

After another six months without a club, he switched to the amateurs of FK Austria Wien in January 2018 . In March 2018 he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Manprit Sarkaria in the 74th minute against ASK Ebreichsdorf on matchday 21 of the 2017/18 season . He scored his first goal in May 2018 in a 3-0 win against FCM Traiskirchen . By the end of the season he played nine games in the regional league and scored one goal, with the second team of Austria he rose to the second division at the end of the season . Then he left the club.

After another six months without a club, he moved to his youth club FC Dornbirn in January 2019. By the end of the season he came to eleven appearances in the Regionalliga, in which he scored two goals; at the end of the season he rose with the club as a master of the western league also in the second division. He made his debut in the second division in July 2019 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Austria Lustenau on the first matchday of the 2019/20 season. After one and a half years with Vorarlberg, he left Dornbirn after the 2019/20 season.

National team

Omerovic played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in March 2013. In August 2014 he made his debut against Bulgaria for the U-17 team . With this he also took part in the European Championships in 2015 , where they were eliminated as third in Group A in the preliminary round. Omerovic was used in all three games during the tournament.

In November 2015, he played his only game for the U-18 team against Italy .
