Angaston

Angaston is a town in the Barossa Valley , South Australia , 77 kilometers northeast of Adelaide . The place was founded in 1842. The first settlers were mainly British and German. The namesake of the place, George Fife Angas (1789–1879), had invested in the young South Australian colony.
