Angela's Park was a German pop band from Berlin .
history
The band was founded in Berlin in early 2006. The name "Angela's Park" arose "... from the idea of creating a place where everything is possible, where just an idea is enough to be happy."
The first Angela's Park concert took place on October 6, 2006 at the Berlin club Lovelight, and from then on the park grew and played a number of concerts all over Germany, including as support for Virginia Jetzt! and EL * KE . As a MySpace winning band at the YOU 2007 youth fair in Berlin. In January 2008 the first EP Essen für die Seele was released on their own. In addition, Angela's Park recorded a cover version of the Pankow classic Wetten Du Willst for SPIESSER magazine and contributed the song Zeit ist nicht für Liebe to the soundtrack of the movie Mitfahrgelportunity . In 2008 the band won the Udo Lindenberg Foundation's 2008 Panic Prize . In October 2008 Angela's Park accompanied Udo Lindenberg and the Panikorchester on his “Strong as Two” tour. On February 13th, 2009 Angela's Park took part in the 5th Bundesvision Song Contest for Saxony-Anhalt and came last. They received 10 out of 12 possible points from the federal state they ran for (Saxony-Anhalt). In early March 2009 the band broke up due to internal disagreements.
