Angela McCluskey

Angela McCluskey is a Scottish singer and songwriter who is active both solo and in the folk rock group Wild Colonials . They also sang for Télépopmusik , including on the single "Breathe", which in the US in a Mitsubishi - commercial was used.

biography

McCluskey was born in Glasgow . She initially worked in London as a press agent and later in the music video department at EMI . In 1991 she moved to Hollywood. She is married to Paul Cantelon.

Musical creation

In 1992 McCluskey and a friend named Shark formed the band Wild Colonials . The group quickly attracted local as well as national interest. Within a year they got from their place of formation, an Irish pub called Cafe Beckett , to Geffen Records and got a contract there. As a result, the two albums Fruit of Life (1994) and This Can't Be Life (1996) as well as extensive touring. In 2000, the song collection Reel Life, Vol. 1 , was released in 2007, the EP Life As We Know It , the first of four parts. The song Long Live I was recorded three weeks after 9/11 in an apartment in Tribeca, a suburb of Manhattan.
