Angelika Fußenegger (born March 22, 1955 in Dornbirn ; née Spiegel) is a self-employed management consultant and former politician ( SPÖ ). Fußenegger was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1995 to 1999 , where he headed the SPÖ Vorarlberg state parliament club .

Angelika Fußenegger was born on March 22, 1955 in the city of Dornbirn in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . After attending primary and secondary school in her hometown, she went to the higher education institute for home and agriculture in Kematen in Tyrol for a year . From 1970 to 1975 she then graduated from the Federal Commercial Academy in Bregenz , where she passed the Matura in 1975 . From 1975 to 1977 she initially worked as an accountant in Baden near Vienna , and from 1977 to 1980 she practiced the same profession in Dornbirn. In 1978 she married Bruno Fußenegger, with whom they had a son in 1980. After her parental leave from 1980 to 1982 Angelika Fußenegger became the regional manager of the Austrian Information Service for Development Policy .

In 1985 Angelika Fußenegger joined the Social Democratic Party (SPÖ) and was elected a member of the Dornbirn city ​​council in the municipal council election the following year . On February 1, 1995, she was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament in place of the previous SPÖ club chairman Karl Falschlunger, who was leaving the state parliament. At the same time she also became chairwoman of the SPÖ state parliament club and its area spokesperson for women, family, social affairs and senior citizens.

After leaving the Vorarlberg state parliament after the state elections in Vorarlberg in 1999 , where her successor as club chairman was Elke Sader , Angelika Fußenegger worked professionally as an independent coach, trainer, business and life and social consultant. In 2004 she moved to the federal capital Vienna , where she now runs an independent management consultancy company. In 2008 she married for the second time.
