Angelika Hauser-Dellefant
Angelika Hauser-Dellefant (born August 11, 1957 in Konstanz ) is a German university professor for music and movement pedagogy ( rhythm ) and head of the Institute for music and movement pedagogy / rhythm and music physiology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in Austria.
education and profession
After her school education at the Ellenrieder-Gymnasium in Konstanz and lessons on piano and percussion, Hauser-Dellefant completed her studies in rhythm at the Hanover University of Music and Theater and studied movement theater with Jacques Lecoq and Philipp Gaulier in Paris, which she did with a Graduated with a diploma in imaginative movement pedagogy ( Franklin method ).
In 1982 she moved from Paris to Vienna and taught since then at the University of Music and Performing Arts diverse subjects such as rhythm, movement technique, movement improvisation, piano improvisation, didactics of rhythm, movement education and didactics of physical education . From 1992 to 2005 she also taught at the contemporary dance department at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz.
Academic activity
From 2002 Hauser-Dellefant has been the director of the Institute for Music and Movement Education and Music Therapy . With over 75 lecturers, this state training institute offers a wide range of courses in the artistic , educational , therapeutic and scientific fields. The department of music and movement education (rhythm) of the institute is the world's largest training facility for rhythmic-musical education (rhythm) and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009.
She is a member of the Austrian Society for Music and Medicine (musicians' medicine, music physiology, music psychology), a member of the Austrian Professional Association for Rhythm / Music and Movement Education and a member of the International drama / theater and education association IDEA.
Artistic activity
The focus of her artistic activities is in the interdisciplinary area of music-dance-language-visual arts as a performer, director or trainer in cooperation with other artists. Are known u. a. also her compositions with body percussion .
Hauser-Dellefant leads international workshops with children, adolescents and adults and gives specialist lectures in the field of rhythm and movement theater.
